Rosalie was a first year college student, from Buffalo, studying in California. Film making was her passion. She was beautiful, bright, loving and very creative. She could light up a room every time she walked in it.
Sadly just a few days after celebrating her older sister’s wedding here in Buffalo - Rose fell ill and by Friday, collapsed. Her roommate called 911 and an ambulance rushed her to the hospital. Her body went into multiple organ failure and she was in a coma by Friday night.
Rose’s mother flew out that day to be with her, shortly after her father and 4 older siblings did as well. Her older brother received a special pass, to join Rose at her bedside, from the Navy, as he was serving in Bahrain at the time.
Tragically, the very hardworking team of specialists were unable to decipher what took hold of Rose.
Rose passed away yesterday.
I decided to set up this page to assist my dear friends w the mounting costs, expenses, hotels, food, medical bills, transportation etc
Their medical plan alone carries a $10,000.00 deductibe and then still a percentage will be their responsibility to pay. There will be costs associated w getting Rose home to buffalo, funeral, and also finalizing with the college as well.
Karen and Ted have been wonderful upstanding contributing members of their local communities and top notch corporate citizens - both very loved and well respected in the business sector. Their love and devotion to their career and their clients and business partners are nothing less than remarkable.
This is a wonderful chance for the community to give a little back.
