Brookwood Community, one of our very own needs our love and support right now. Rosa Almaraz, a new custodial worker at Brookwood Elementary, is grieving the loss of her father. If you know Rosa, she is a kind, loving person who always gives that warm welcome no matter the struggle she is feeling. Our hearts go out to Rosa and her family as she grieves the loss of this very special person in her life.
Rosa is from Mexico and this is where her father called home. She has been traveling back and forth to see him during his time of illness and is now faced with the burden of the cost of travel, funeral and burial expenses.
We know that many of you will want to help Rosa and her family during this difficult time. We are so appreciative of your thoughtfulness and the support we as community can offer. We ask for prayers that Rosa and her family find peace during this very difficult time, but we also ask that if you are able to make a monetary donation to help pay for travel to Mexico, funeral and burial expenses, we know that Rosa and her family would be beyond grateful.
