Dear friends, family, and supporters of CrunchME,

Welcome to my birthday fundraiser for 2026!

This is my fourth year raising funds on my birthday to help speed up progress on ME (Myalgic Encephalomyelitis), the chronic illness I've lived with since 2018, and my second year raising for my own non-profit, CrunchME.

Your generosity last year helped to get CrunchME off the ground. Last year you helped us raise around £2,000, and this year the goal is £3,500, enough to cover a full year of our running costs.

If we can push beyond that, it will help us bring in more volunteers and equip them with the right software tools, as well as supporting more social media-based awareness campaigns.

CrunchME is all about using data-informed advocacy to help unlock the larger-scale funding needed to really ramp up biomedical research, to the tune of tens or hundreds of millions of pounds, from governments, philanthropists, and foundations.

I'm now pleased to say that some of the leading ME research and advocacy organisations around the world are using CrunchME visuals for just this purpose. To name a few: Open Medicine Foundation, Action for ME, the Complex Diseases Alliance (CODA) and #NotJustFatigue.

This is strong proof that our path is the right one, and with your help, we expect our impact to only grow over the coming 12 months. This is our biggest fundraising event of the year, so the deeper you dig, the faster we can move!
