Hi, I’m Rory. I’m a venue manager and musician based in Edinburgh and I’m transfemme nonbinary.

I’m trying to raise funds for my gender transition as accessing NHS help for this can be a very long and frustrating journey.

I’m seeking funds for different fat transfer surgeries and laser hair removal not available on the NHS to help me feel more comfortable in my body and the skin I have.

I’m also looking to raise funds for a private gender clinic as this would allow me to avoid any long waiting lists in the NHS and find a way to become the most authentic version of myself without being at the mercy of long wait lists and oversaturated appointments.

My fundraising goal would not cover all of this but it would be a very large help as I feel a lot of these things would be very unattainable if I were to save and pay for it all myself.

I know I’m not special or more deserving of these things than other trans or nonbinary people but if you have anything to donate or even if you just share this with your friends it would mean the world to me.
