Dear friends, kind souls, and coffee lovers,

My name is Hamoon, and for as long as I can remember, I’ve carried one quiet but persistent dream in my heart, to open a coffee shop that feels like home. A place not just to sip coffee, but to create memories. A space where strangers become friends, where stories are shared, and where community takes root.

This dream was born in the warm southern port city of Bandar Mahshahr, Iran, where I grew up. I used to imagine a little café filled with the smell of freshly brewed coffee, soft music in the background, laughter at every table , a place where I could serve people with love, one cup at a time.

When I was 18, my mother gave me a life-changing choice: “I can help you study abroad, or I can help you open your coffee shop here.”
I chose to follow the longer path — to come to Canada and build a life with the hope that, one day, that dream café would find its place here instead.

Years passed. Seven of them, to be exact. They were full of the struggles that many new immigrants will understand, starting over, navigating a new culture, building from scratch. But I never let go of the vision. I worked in coffee shops and hospitality, learning the ropes, gaining the experience I needed to one day bring Roozamoon to life.

Then this past February, I took the leap.

With my mother’s blessing and promise to support me by eventually selling a property back home, I signed the lease on a cozy space. I began building Roozamoon with my own hands, sanding, painting, assembling furniture. Every inch of the space was shaped with love, intention, and the belief that this café would become something bigger than me, a haven for creatives, newcomers, artists, and anyone needing connection.

But then the world shifted.

Due to the war and economic hardship back in Iran, my mother had to give me heartbreaking news: she could no longer help. The support she hoped to send could no longer reach me, and I suddenly found myself at the edge of completing this dream, but without the resources to finish it.

So now, humbly, I turn to you.

I’ve used every resource I have. With the help of generous friends and long days of hard work, I’ve brought Roozamoon to life in so many ways: the furniture is in, the signage is up, the vision is alive. But I need help with the last stretch, purchasing an espresso machine!

My goal is to create more than just a café, I want to create a soulful, creative space where people gather not just to drink coffee, but to share their stories, heal, collaborate, and grow. A place for the dreamers and the doers, for those who’ve struggled like I have, and for those seeking connection in a busy world.

The name “Roozamoon” means “Our Days” - because I believe in making memories together. I dreamed of a space to share my days with Hamoon, and now I dream of sharing it with all of you.

If you’ve ever believed in a dream, if you’ve ever longed for a place to belong, or if you simply love a good cup of coffee, I would be so grateful for your support in helping me bring Roozamoon to life.

Thank you for reading my story, for believing in small dreams with big hearts, and for being part of this journey.

❤️With deep gratitude❤️
