Highlights of what Roots Provides to our community and beyond:
Since 2018, Roots Zero Waste Market has grown from a bold idea to reduce plastic pollution and food waste from the traditional grocery experience, into a vibrant working example to build upon. This kind of alternative, community-powered model is not just viable, it’s needed now more than ever.
We source from over 180 regional/local growers and makers - strengthening our regional economy and resilience, in the face of global supply chain instability.
We offer bulk organic groceries, low-tox household goods, and prepared foods at affordable prices
Eliminate Plastic Pollution and Food Waste from our local landfill for our shoppers and our Market.
Provide an Organic, scratch-made deli/cafe with options for every dietary restriction and preference - sourcing from our grocery area to close the loop on food waste.
Provide community space and fosters connection with each other
Support local artists with commission free space each month of the year and embrace our live- work- create district.
New concepts need time and resources to grow! Thank you for having faith through our commitment.
We would be grateful if you helped us get there together and continue to inspire change throughout the country.
every zero-waste purchase, every locally sourced product—adds up to meaningful change.
We hope to see you in the Market for years to come!
