Rooted in Resilience: Help Rebuild Our Tea Farm

Help Rebuild The Great Mississippi Tea Company

On the evening of May 6th, 2026, a devastating EF3 tornado tore through Lincoln County, Mississippi, leaving a path of catastrophic destruction in its wake. Our beloved 27-acre farm—the heart and soul of The Great Mississippi Tea Company—was directly in the crosshairs.

While we are beyond grateful that everyone is safe, the farm we have spent years pouring our lives into has been fundamentally altered.

The Extent of the Damage

The sheer power of the storm has left the farm unrecognizable. We are currently facing:

Destroyed Infrastructure: Our brand-new building, specifically designed to house our latest processing machinery, was completely leveled.

Field Devastation: Our tea fields, the lifeblood of our company, are currently buried under hundreds of downed trees and twisted metal.

Equipment Loss: Essential farm machinery has been mangled or destroyed, halting our ability to maintain the crop or process our harvest.

Debris Field: All 27 acres are covered in debris from the buildings and surrounding area, creating a massive logistical hurdle for recovery.

The Challenge Ahead

We have always prided ourselves on being resilient, but the road to recovery is long. While we do carry insurance, it unfortunately does not cover the herculean task of debris removal or the full extent of the specialized machinery loss.

We are looking at months of intensive cleanup before we can even begin to assess the long-term health of the tea plants themselves.

How You Can Help

The Great Mississippi Tea Company has always been about more than just tea; it’s about community, American agriculture, and the love of the land. We are asking for your help to:

1. Fund Professional Clearing: To remove the heavy timber and twisted steel currently choking our tea fields.
2. Replace Critical Machinery: To help us get back to the work of harvesting and processing.
3. Rebuild Infrastructure: To replace the specialized housing required for our operations.

"A farm is more than land and buildings; it's a dream that survives the storm."

Every dollar raised will go directly toward the cleanup efforts and the restoration of the farm. Whether you can donate or simply share our story, your support means the world to us as we navigate this difficult chapter.

Thank you for helping us bring Mississippi tea back to life.
