Root2Success: STEM Enrichment Program

Hi, our names are Aakash Jha and Tino Karakousis. We are both Juniors at Julia R. Masterman High School. We are fundraising for our organization, Root2Success. Root2Success is a free, virtual mathematics & STEM enrichment program for motivated 5th and 6th-grade students attending public or charter schools in Philadelphia. We offer free, weekly mathematics lessons and hold competitions where students work in groups for a small prize. Our classes, curriculum, and competitions are run entirely by Masterman High School students. For this upcoming academic year, Root2Succes will expand its horizons and hopefully offer lessons to 7th and 8th-graders as well. Our primary goal is to bring out a passion in students wanting to pursue Math or other STEM careers and provide equal opportunity to all students, regardless of financial means. The money raised from this GoFundMe will help us upgrade our website domain, offer larger prizes to students, and hopefully bring our program to more schools. Any donations are appreciated. Thank you!
