Help Roosevelt Racers Reach the Finish Line!
We are the Roosevelt Racers, a passionate group of students from Eleanor Roosevelt High School competing in the international STEM Racing competition. We are thrilled that we placed 2nd in the USA at the STEM Racing Nationals, earning us the honor of representing team USA at the STEM Racing World Finals in Singapore this September. Our journey is about more than just racing—it’s about innovation, problem-solving, and pushing the boundaries of STEM.
In December, we found out that we advanced to Nationals following a strong performance at the STEM Racing Eastern Regionals with 6 awards, including the Overall 1st Place for Eastern Regionals.
Since then, we have spent months preparing for the STEM Racing Nationals which took place early April in Charlotte, North Carolina! Our hard work paid off during the presentations, racing sessions, interviews and all our submissions when we were announced the second place national champions!
Our performance has earned us the honor of representing the USA at the STEM Racing Worlds Finals in Singapore this September! This global competition brings together the top teams from over 50 countries, and we are incredibly proud to represent not just our school and city, but the United States on this international stage.
We’ve come a long way since our rookie year in 2017, when we placed second in the New York Super Regional and ninth at Nationals. In 2020, we earned the Best Sponsorship & Marketing and Best R&D awards at Nationals. We are proud to continue building on this legacy!!
We're raising funds to cover registration fees for the World Finals, travel expenses to Singapore, materials for our car and more! We appreciate all the support from Nationals and are grateful for all future donations that make our success possible. This will help the Roosevelt Racers core team, support members, club members, and establish a lasting legacy and reputation for ELRO!
