Unfortunately, we didn’t want it to get to this point, but since it got to the point where our living situation and ability to work online and make any extra sort of income have been stripped from us, we feel it’s best for us to be transparent and clear the air as to how and why we got to this point and finally voice what we have been silent about:

On May 16, we were evicted due to the negligence of paying rent by our former roommate, who we trusted would keep up with the terms of the agreement. Trying to be a decent human being and a FRIEND, we let him stay a month rent-free in our old apartment to help him get back on his feet after being “kicked out” of his parents' house for gambling. We provided free car upgrades, didn’t charge him for any computer fixes, cooked for him daily, and even gave him resources to get back on his feet financially and introduced him to vtubing. In exchange for all that and in fairness, we just asked him to get a job to maintain the next apartment. And unfortunately failed to do so. On the last day of the lockout, he decided to block us and leave us for dead after how much we helped a person who we trusted was a friend. We would have been happy with a simple apology or even a “thank you for helping me out and being a friend.”

To keep things short, we have been living in motels since May 16th with our 2 dogs. It has been hard finding properties with the eviction in our name, but attorneys said they will remove it on our side, but it will obviously take a while. We have our eyes on a property but won’t be able to progress until June 15th, and since the eviction, motel rooms and spending money on food have been accumulating daily, which is why we are struggling to save money.

We just need as much support till June 15th in order to progress into a new home. We think it’s unfair for this person to live on with his life like nothing happened, knowing he affected 2 people and 2 dogs and knew we had no family to run to. We just want to move on from the situation and now spread awareness of situations that can happen like this.
