For the last year I've been on a shared lease with a friend of mine. Unfortunately, this roommate recently left abruptly leaving me by myself to pay the rent for the remainder of our lease. After they left I discovered through the leasing office that they hadn't paid rent in months. I am now at a point where the leasing office is requiring me to pay the missing balance or leave. I also can't bring someone else onto the lease to replace the previous roommate until the balance is paid.

Those that know me, know I love my apartment. It's a home for me and my amazing cat Diamond.
