Room for Alex

I think as a parent we all know we would do anything to help our children! I am having a very hard time asking for help. Especially since we have been so blessed with all the help we have already received for Alex. We have exhausted ourselves in trying to get Alex to walk.

She has come much further than her medical doctors ever thought she would! As so many of you know, Alex was stricken with the West Nile virus back in 2012. She has had a tough fight her whole life, but if you ask her, it hasn't been bad! She will just give you a thumbs up and a smile!! Heart transplant at 37 days, bypass surgery at age 4, kidney transplant at age 12, pacemaker at age 13! West Nile nearly took her from us.

She has been living in our living room since coming home from the hospital, with only a half bath downstairs. We have tried to find a ranch home so she can have her own space and privacy once more, but haven't had any luck. Sooo, we are looking to add on above our garage to give her a room and accessible bathroom that will fit her needs.
