Roof Replacement Project

Dear Friends of St. George,
The roof of our church is beyond its useful life and unfortunately, we are currently experiencing a number of serious leaks from our roof that are affecting various parts of the church. We have deferred roof replacement for years, but now must act promptly to avoid further damage to the interior.
Bids were obtained and the job will cost $25,000. If 100 of us could donate $100 each, we could raise $10,000; $200 from each would generate $20,000 and so on. These are just examples. We are asking everyone to consider donating at any level to raise funds over the next 30- 60 days, so we may proceed with this project.
We realize that this is the holiday season and a special time for family and friends. In this season of giving, please consider a Christmas gift to preserve our beloved church. Whatever help you can extend will be greatly appreciated.
