What is this fundraiser for:

At present the roof on our building is leaking in a few places which are damaging the inside of the building along with vital equipment, we have a plan to weatherproof the whole roof and perform some repairs at the same time, this will cost a total of around £6,000 we have already received donation of £1,000 so we have been able to start the work on the worst affected area's, anything you can donate will be appreciated by the theatres Trustees and members.

The Little Theatre Society is over 70 years old and is based in an old iconic army building we lease.

We are a charity run by volunteers, the society produces 4 shows every year including plays, drama’s, musicals and of course our acclaimed panto performances – many of which are NODA award winning.

Our mission is to continue to provide value for money local entertainment for the community of Telford and the surrounding area, always aiming to keep prices as low as possible to ensure a trip to the theatre is affordable to many.

Like all charities, we exist on a very tight budget and the goodwill of our members but with help, we could do so much more and build even better performances.

Being in an old building presents its challenges, donations would allow us to carry out essential work to improve the theatre, improve sustainability and reduce future outgoings, keep prices affordable & ensure its continuity.
