My name is Casey and I’m the founder of Muck Duck Studio. I’m sad to share news of damage to our newest event space- Wonderground.

Twice this summer our precious, new event venue experienced devastating flooding.

The first time, July 4th 2026, we had a roof leak directly over our stage. 100 gallons of water down-poured into our venue.

Insurance claims were made and denied.

We lost $17,500 in July 2026.

We carried on.

We did not publicly announce our misfortune.

We struggled but managed to adapt- the team worked tirelessly to mitigate damage, we rearranged the space to keep our programs running and replaced what we could with our own support and the support of our landlord.

In July a whole new roof was put in. Completed and safe according to the contractors. We believe they did the best they could- and did not expect more damage….

Until this week-

This past week of September 2, 2026 we suffered another major roof leak that led to more than 120+ gallons of water in our venue.

The storm was so severe that in a matter of minutes our entire stage, our equipment, and 2,380 sq/ft of our location were submerged.

We are currently devastated.

We are still calculating our total loss.

We do need support, but more importantly we need to let you all know what’s happening. Community transparency is needed in times of celebration and loss.
