A good heart ....
Over a year ago, my friend Ron Melendez , became ill with an unknown infection running through his body affecting most of his major organs.
Not only did Ron suffer two strokes from a massive brain infection, his heart where the infections began was severely damaged resulting in his heart valve exploding. Ron was unable to breathe without assistance from a respirator and was in need of open heart surgery. The doctors were unsure he would make it through the night and his children were brought in to say their goodbye's.
Defending all obstacles, Ron thankfully made it through the open heart surgery and was slowly on his road to a long recovery. However, the recovery process has left him unable to work. He is a proud man that has worked very hard to maintain a beautiful home and care for his 3 young boys.
