Ron & Tammy Elgin's Medical Fund

I am raising money to help offset the medical expense that my parents will have from their motorcycle accident on Sunday, August 23rd, 2015 in Marshfield, Wisconsin. (about 6 hours from Bertha, MN where they live)  My Dad will be released from the hospital on the 27th but will need someone with him at all times to help him with daily activites as both arms are mostly out of commisson for awhile, and he will continue to stay in Marshfield at a hotel until my mother is realsed from the hospital. My Mom is currently in ICU with bleeding on the brain, and fractures in her neck, back and shoulder. We have hopes of getting her out in the next few days, and moved to a regular hospital room. Even after leaving the hospital it will be an unkown amount of time until they can return to work and will need constant care at home as well. My Dad did have insurance and my Mom was in her 90 day waiting period to get on her insurance at her work and was not on my Dad's yet as they were waiting for open enrollment to come around so the medical bills will all need to be paid out of pocket for my Mom.   Any help is so much appreciated to help offset hotel stays while in Wisconsin and of course the ongoing medical bills. I thank God every day that the injuries are only as bad as they are and that my parents are still here with me!!
