Ronsarius Hongo came into this world "tiny" and he was known as "Lil
Ron" to us all. Even though he was known as "Lil Ron," his life
greatly impacted everyone who knew him. His smile, attitude, and selfless mannerism will forever be cherished by all who knew and loved him.
However, he left us tragically on June 6, 2022, at 18 years young, leaving a huge hole in all of our hearts. Our entire community, the Village of Florien, has lost one of our most precious souls. He had just graduated from
Florien High School, "Class of 2022," and was set to embark on his next
chapter of life at McNeese State University.
Lil Ron held many roles in his short life. The one that he enjoyed and
prided himself the most was being a Florien Blackcat. His energy and love for the game was evident every time you seen him step foot on the
basketball court. He will forever be our #11.
I am asking that we as a community unite and step forward to help his
family, and his sister, Ms. Marguerite Janae Palmer, during this devastating
loss as they need help giving Lil Ron his final celebration of life. Even the
smallest donation will help ensure that someone who has touched so
many lives receives the honor he so well deserves. The family will forever be grateful for any and all donations. Please keep them in your prayers in
the days ahead and God Bless You All!
