My Dear Friends & Family,

I'm reaching out to you with a heavy heart and a humble plea for help. My husband Ron, a devoted father, husband of 34 years, and veteran has recently undergone surgery on his legs and now faces unexpected surgery on both wrists and hands. This has left us in a precarious financial situation, with Ron unable to return to work as a plumber in the next couple of months (which requires the use of his hands and knees), and with minimal support from the VA. Ron is an amazing human with a huge kind heart who truly loves everyone, and he needs a little time to heal.

We're in danger of losing our apartment, the place where we've lived for the last nine years and shared countless memories. Any donation, no matter how small, would help us keep our home and provide for our beloved family, including our two senior dogs. I wish I could do more after all Ron has done for me, but I am currently on oxygen at home and struggling with a disability, with no benefits but SSI.
