I didn’t want it to come to this but I’m in dire need of a helping hand.

Monday the 28th July my best-friend Ron fell in the freezing cold creek in his paddock. We are unsure how long he was stuck there for, worst case up to 4 hours.

Mum found him exhausted with shock and hypothermia setting in.

Thankfully we have him insured, however the vet bills will exceed the cover amount. We don’t want to choose between money and his life, but in our current financial situation it’s looking as though we may have to. Anything you can spare would be greatly appreciated.

I watched him fight to stay with every bit of his strength, all I could do was watch and hope as the vets did their best. He is still fight and improving with treatment .

He is currently receiving care at the Charles Sturt Veterinary Clinical Centre just outside Wagga Wagga.

Any excess money not required for Ron’s treatment will be donated to a veterinary clinic to help someone else in our position.
