Ronny your new Licensed Esthetician
Beschermde donatie
I grew up hearing the African proverb “many hands make light of work.” Many of you are also familiar with the saying “if you want to go fast go alone, but if you want to go far go together." This morning I was faced with the reality that I may not be able to continue my studies for esthetician school.
For the past 8 months I have been enrolled part time courses at Christine Valmy to become a licensed esthetician.
Few know this but I am a skin care enthusiast and saw the pandemic as an opportunity to enrich myself and turn to a new area of passion. I would like to open my own spa and grooming services along with a product line, all in the works. Since being in the program I’ve learn so much but also gained more energy to get into this field as there aren’t many men or people of color in the business of aesthetics, our skin is precious and I want to be a resource in our communities to help treat and support matters around the maintenance and longevity of all skin types.
Currently, I don’t have as much financial aid support towards trade school as I hoped would think. I’ve connected with loved ones about getting support and I would like to turn to my larger network. Should you want to help and be apart of my journey please give or share this with your network and help this young man get to his goal.
