I’m raising funds for my niece, Ronnise Smart, who lives in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. Ronnise is 36 years old and urgently needs medical care after being diagnosed with a blood clot and a blocked vessel in her brain.

There are no treatment options available for her on the island, so she needs to be transported on a medical flight to Trinidad as soon as possible for further testing and surgery. She has to undergo a Digital Subtraction Angiography (DSA), Computed Tomography Angiography (CTA), and a Magnetic Resonance Angiography (MRA), with surgery to follow based on those results.

This is especially heartbreaking because Ronnise is also a mother of two young children, and right now our family is focused on getting her the care she needs without delay. The funds raised will help cover her transport to Trinidad and related treatment costs so she can receive the urgent care that is not available where she lives.

All monies collected will be transferred to Ronnise’s account in Saint Vincent for the family to apply to her treatment costs.
