Ronnie's Parents - Harry and Sara Jean Landers
Donativo protegido
My name is Jane Van Berkum. I was Ronnie's friend, employer, and I am now his executor. I am from Colorado and live on the ranch where he worked full-time the past four years. All the money raised in this fundraiser is to go to Ronnie's parents, Harry and Sara Jean Landers. They depended on Ronnie completely. He died without assets, and although they live modestly, they will need help, especially financial. At Sara Jean's request, I will withdraw the funds into my personal account, and then write her a check for the exact amount. I want to finalize this as soon as possible. They need closure. And they need the money.
Ronnie started working with us about eight years ago, and he slowly became more and more involved at the ranch, and more and more vital. He could absolutely fix anything - David always said he was truly a MacGyver - and he was just a good, fun guy. He'd completely turned his life around in recent years and we applaud him for that. He was a great son to his parents Harry and Sara Jean, helping them in myriad ways and even moving into a camper behind their house recently so he could always be on hand to help them. He was absolutely loyal, and he added so much to the ranch. He had a great sense of humor and loved to wear tacky t-shirts. He loved outfitting, the mountains, his dogs, and roping on his horse Forty. He loved the ranch and he loved being part of things here. He died very suddenly of a heart attack on Friday afternoon January 29, 2021 and we miss him very much. Please do not feel you need to donate to this - a card about your memories of him sent to the ranch which we will pass on to his folks will be so much appreciated - but if you do, know that all funds raised will go to help his parents. They will need it and I know they will so much appreciate it. Please contact me anytime if questions ~~ Jane. [teléfono redactado]. Landers c/o Rainbow Trout Ranch, P.O. Box 458, Antonito, CO 81120.
