Ronnie’s Final Run: Help Ease His Passing Vet Bills

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Daniella, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to fundraise for my dog Ronnie’s legacy. On June 18, 2025, my sweet boy, just 9 years old, left us suddenly, leaving me with a sizeable veterinary bill I wasn’t prepared for. I feel devastated by his loss, knowing he’s gone forever. But any little help you can offer means the world.

Ronnie was a star in my life. For 9 years—3299 days, 4,750,560 minutes—he brought joy with his wet nose nudging me awake, his eager tail wagging at the door, his warm loyalty curled at my feet. His eyes spoke kindness, teaching me to find happiness in a sunny day or a shared glance that said, “I am here, and you are enough.”

Just weeks after his 9th birthday, on Monday, June 16, 2025, Ronnie turned for the worse. He peed himself in the morning, which I thought was old age. By afternoon, he was drooling, panting, lethargic, and in pain in his lower abdomen. We rushed to the vet that evening, where they gave him strong pain relief overnight. On Tuesday, June 17, we returned for blood tests, an ultrasound, and x-rays. After 7 long hours, the call came with heartbreaking news: a large, aggressive growth in his spleen, likely spread to his heart. An x-ray confirmed it—his heart, so full of love, was touched by this cruel disease.

With no options left, we took Ronnie home for one last night to say goodbye properly. On Wednesday, June 18, we returned for his final journey. He left us bravely, his eyes still kind, his love still warm.

The vet bills from those days have left me struggling. I’m asking for your help to cover these costs, so I can honor Ronnie’s memory without this weight. Every donation, no matter how small, keeps his melody alive—the sound of his paws, the warmth of his fur, the love that needed no words. Thank you for helping me say farewell to my best friend, who now runs free where the fields are endless and the sun always shines.

With all my gratitude,
Daniella
