Ronnie’s Emergency Vet Fund

UPDATE 5/30:

I am heartbroken to share the news that Ronnie had a complication during his recovery. His condition deteriorated very quickly and I had to make the impossible decision to end his suffering. Final vet bill exceeds $13k.

On May 28th, my precious boy Ronnie had emergency surgery to repair a gastrointestinal perforation. It seems he had too much fun in the yard and swallowed a piece of a stick. A section of his intestine had to be removed and he currently has an abdominal drain in to help reduce the risk of sepsis. Ronnie will spend the next few days at the veterinary hospital to monitor his recovery.

While I am beyond grateful for the care and expertise of his medical team, the vet bills are climbing and climbing. I am currently looking at a vet bill of $11,934. Most of my paycheck goes towards paying off my student loans, so any help at all is deeply appreciated. Thank you for helping him.
