Ronnie Porter and Family living expenses

Hello. My name is Chris Porter. Ron Porter's son. Almost a month ago my father was in a terrible accident. He was working on trimming some trees in the backyard and fell off a ladder. His brother Mike was holding the ladder while my father was cutting a limb down. The limb landed as planned, however when it did it then flipped around 180 degrees coming towards them. It kicked the ladder and my uncle causing my father to fall down to the ground.

Upon impact he landed on the freshly cut limb and ground at the same time. He sustaned a Compound fracture of his right femur, a bi lateral fracture of his left femur, broken chest plate, two broken ribs, and a fracture in his lower back. As the doctors are hopeful, we still dont know how long the healing process will take in order for him to regrain full movement for him to go back to work.

With him being a heavy equipment operator for over 40 years specializing in grading, these injuries prevent him from being able to operate and ultimatley provide. With a disabled wife and granddaughter who has taken a leave of absence from work to help with recovery. The main source of income has been taken away due to this accident.

Any and all dontations will be used to cover monthly bills, costs of living expenses, and any further medical bills that insurance will not cover. He will remain out of work indefinitely until he is cleared by a physician to return.
