Ronnie Moore MBE statue @Wimbledon Stadium

We need each and everyone’s support for this part of TheDonsDen journey. With the old Stadium a memory, speedway is being recognised in the heritage work that is being put in place at the new Wimbledon Football Stadium by WiSH. TheDonsDen in collaboration with WiSH are proud to announce the commissioning of a life size statue of Wimbledon legend Ronnie Moore MBE team. In a first for British Speedway, to have a lifesize statue in honour of a Dons legend but speedway in the capital city, once the Mecca for speedway in its heyday.

 

The statue will be mounted in the public space outside the new stadium alongside other installations to honour footballs return and a the Wombles of Wimbledon.
