In Loving Memory of Ronnie Mayo
Donation protected
In the early hours of 27th February, we received the devastating news that Ronnie Mayo ( Ron/RonRon ) had passed away unexpectedly.
As many of you will know, Ron, although a private person, had an incredible sense of humour that will not be forgotten. His passion for cooking, particularly the amount of butter he loved to use, will be something many of us will speak of when remembering him. Of course ,not forgetting his dedicated service in the Royal Mail, which he only left due to his health a few years ago.
Throughout his life, Ron had a lot of time for his family. From cooking big roast dinners with multiple desserts, teaching his mum and dad how to use any new gadget he’d often buy. Watching the Arsenal with his dad and mick, his brother, and ultimately passing down his season ticket to his nephew, Michael. He had a very special place in his heart for Danielle and Michael, which only became a bigger space when both welcomed little boys and he enjoyed passing on the Arsenal obsession to Arnie and Noah. It is through the family and friends who spent time with him that we know his memory will always live on.
As a family, we have decided instead of flowers, we would be grateful if people would like to send a donation in memory of Ron. We will be splitting donations between the British Heart Foundation and the Ambulance Service as both are charities close to Ron’s life.
We would like to take this moment to thank everyone for their kind words and support during this time whilst we are still trying to navigate the shocking news.
