Ronald Richard “Ronnie” Robert II, AKA Ronnie Ball Game, passed away on Wednesday, September 23rd, 2020. Ronnie was more than just another Twitch streamer. He was a son, and a brother, an Uncle, and a Fierce Friend. He had a larger-than-life personality with the heart of a teddy bear. RBG was a pillar in our gaming and streaming community and his smile, laugh and love for life is something that will echo through our hearts and minds forever!
In honor and remembrance of Ronnie we are forming:
The Ronnie Ball Game Affiliate Fund
On September 10th, we will begin to raise funds. The proceeds raised for this fund will be used to help Small Streamers “get to that next level” by helping them with tech purchases. If you stream or watch streams regularly then you know that to grow a stream and a community, you must constantly upgrade and improve the experience for the viewers and those upgrades cost money.
We feel certain that Ronnie Ball Game would have loved to be able to improve the streaming experience for small streamers and viewers alike so…
We will be accepting 2-minute video submissions from applicants for the RBG Affiliate Fund from September 10th through September 30th. Applicant videos should include Bio info, stream info and links as well as a little about yourself and what tech you need to get to the next step in your stream career. We have a selection committee of 6 individuals including Ronnie’s sister’s and Best Friend who will review all submissions and select the winner(s). Winning Affiliate Streamers will receive $500 dollars to help them purchase gear needed to make improvements on their streams. In the event that we do not raise over $500 there will be one winner chosen and they will receive what we raised minus fees. The number of winning applicants is only limited by the amount of funds we raise. Theogsnoflake will hold a 12 hour stream on Sept 23rd to not only raise the money to make this a reality but to celebrate Ronnie. I will be providing a GoFundMe link that you can use to donate and share on your social media to help us make the biggest impact possible.
Video submissions will still be accepted through midnight PST on Sept 30th. Video submissions should be sent to rbg . [email redacted] . com The selection committee will review the videos and make their selections over the following week and the winner(s) will be announced and notified on October 4th. The winner(s) will be announced on Theogsnoflake twitch channel. Any official updates will be given on Theogsnoflake twitter page and Twitch channel.
(In order to qualify to apply as a small Streamer” you must be a twitch affiliate.
No Twitch partners will qualify as “small streamers” for this fund.)
Streamers from all platforms are welcome to apply, PC, Console, etc.…
As a note to all who intend to submit videos, be original, be creative, but above all things be respectful and Be Kind!
