Ronnie, an Abused Pup, Needs Urgent Surgery!

Your help is urgently needed! Ronnie is a one-year-old male chihuahua (10 lbs) who, unfortunately, ended up in the Riverside County Animal Shelter on 10/7 as a stray and, due to a severe injury, was on the code red/euthanasia list.
Ronnie's right humerus (meaning his right arm bone) is broken in two. He does not have wounds or scars to suggest that he was hit by a car. His intake picture indicates that his mouth had been bound with tape. He was clearly abused and ultimately found himself in pain and sitting in a kennel at the shelter with euthanasia imminent. I mean, can you have it any worse?
Despite having rescued several dogs in the last few weeks, with expenses increasing quickly, I could not let Ronnie die and went to great lengths to save him. He was rescued on 10/13 by the League of Extraordinary Mutts, and we've scheduled an urgent surgery, which is due to take place on Friday, 10/15.
This is where we need support from the animal-loving community! The estimate for the surgery is $3,500 and in order to move forward, we need to raise funds. The only way we can continue to save animals left behind at the shelter and in the greatest need of medical attention is with your help.
