Help a YouTuber In Need of Windows

Last night our friend Roy, AKA Ronin Pawn, was helping a woman whose life was in danger and ended up having all of the windows in his house broken by an angry squatter. Here's the story in a nutshell.

Roy lives in a run- down area of Detroit, MI, where he is attempting to help rehab the neighborhood by purchasing, repairing, and living in one of the old houses there. Many of his neighbors are squatters. On Saturday night a woman from the neighborhood came to his door asking for asylum from her abusive male partner. Roy let her in his home and stood outside trying to reason with the angry man who finally left. Roy called 911, but since the man ran into "his" vacant (he is a squatter) , and very dark house, the police were unwilling to risk going in to arrest him.

On Monday night the woman was back at his door again, still attempting to flee from her abusive partner. This time Roy decided to stay inside to protect the woman. The man outside was furious that he couldn't get to her and walked around Roy's house breaking each and every one of his windows. He then came in through one of the windows and proceeded to once again attack Roy and break his furniture. Roy was on the phone with 911 through this whole ordeal, but the police did not get there in time to stop the destruction or to protect the people the house. By this time the woman was asking Roy to just let her leave since the angry partner just wanted her, not him. Seeing no other option, Roy let her leave. Other than yelling at each other, the couple left peacefully and went their separate ways. The police did finally apprehend the man off the roof of a neighboring building, however, Roy is still left with wounds, broken windows, and broken furniture.

Since he doesn't make much at his job as a YouTube entertainer he is unable to buy new windows. If you are able to help with the cost of windows and furniture, approximately $1,500, we would appreciate your help. (Roy will put in the windows himself with his dad's help, otherwise, it would cost much more.)

Update 12 hours later the "Man woman beater" is out of jail and back at "his" residence.
