Ronin Cheek

We are heartbroken to share that Tyler and Alexis’s sweet baby Ronin passed away peacefully in their arms on Sunday, June 5th, after a 25 day fight following an unexpected traumatic birth on May 11th, 2022.

What began as a happy trip to the hospital ready to deliver their newest son into the world ended in tragedy with Ronin suffering a traumatic brain injury, one which he would not recover from. After an emergency cesarean delivery, he was swiftly carried away via helicopter to UCLA Medical Center to better treat his injuries and gone with him were the months of joyful anticipation his family experienced eagerly awaiting his addition.

Ronin will be forever loved and remembered in his mom & dad’s, and brothers Max & Nico’s hearts, as well as in the hearts of the rest of their family and friends.

 

On behalf of Tyler and Alexis, we appreciate the outpouring of love and support over the past few weeks, and undoubtedly, in the months to come.

 

Tyler and Alexis will be holding a private graveside service on June 28th for the family. This GoFundme page has been set up to help support Tyler and Alexis with the financial burden of these unforeseen arrangements and medical costs.
