Roniel, a 32 year old father, ON LIFE SUPPORT

A month ago, on Motzei Shabbat “Vayikra” (March 26, 2023), just after saying Havdalah for his family, Roniel had a massive stroke which resulted in immediate emergency brain surgery. As of now, a month and 2 brain bleeds later, Roniel is still in critical condition, between heaven and earth, on life support.

Roniel is married with three little children, all of whom suffer from various handicap issues (one whose issues have led to several hospitalizations just this past year). Before the stroke, both parents worked as self-employed contractors. Roniel just finished law school, while working concurrently, and was just going to start his internship, to provide a more secure future for his family.

This tragic situation with her husband being on life support without a clear prognosis, will not allow his wife to return to work in the near future.

In addition, recently it has come to light that the family has accumulated significant debts in their attempt to improve their earning capabilities and provide for their three handicapped children for expenses, over and above any government help received.

Please, we are asking that you join us in the big mitzvah, of helping a family, considering that even after (IY”H) Roniel will wake up, he will be facing months of long and challenging rehabilitation, all while not being able to provide for his family.

For this reason, we, their friends and relatives, are reaching out to raise funds for this dear family, whose current and future medical expenses and debt are estimated currently at hundreds of thousands of shekels.

We are initiating this campaign to not only put a stop to the family's financial deterioration, but also in order to empower the family, so that once Roniel (IY”H) wakes up, he can rehabilitate, without financial worries, and the family can restart their lives.

May we all be “zocheh” during these days of 'Omer', to be on the “giving” side, alongside a refuah shleimah and a bracha of health to all of Am Yisrael.
