There are people in our community who make such an impact that when they lose someone so close, we all suffer. Ronie Bicalho, the son of Marly and Ronie Bicalho and the brother of Melissa, died suddenly on Monday morning. It is a tragic and unthinkable loss for parents. He was a young, vibrant and kind human. Marly has raised her children in East Boston and has been such an important part of this community. She comes to work everyday with a smile on her face and a positive attitude. She emits happiness and love with all the children she has looked after over the many years and she has helped numerous families get the resources they need when arriving in the US.

We feel the loss of her son Ronnie deeply as we know she is heartbroken.

We are hoping to raise some funds to help with the expenses over the next few weeks and months as they start their long road ahead.
