I'm Mark Holman, Ronelle's (Nelly) stepfather. I met Nelly when she was 13. She is such a kind hearted person and even at a young age I could tell that family meant a lot to her. She was always there if someone needed help even when her Papa was sick in Florida, she immediately  flew down to help her Nana and spend the last few days of his life with him. I received a text from Nelly last Thursday, March 11 and she mentioned she was being admitted to the hospital with numbness in her hands and feet. The original thought was possibly MS, so  I flew out the next day to be with her and take care of her and her 3 amazing dogs Daisy, Tulip and Ollie (all 3 rescue dogs). After numerous tests, that all came back negative, they finally think it's Guillain Barre Syndrome, and as of yesterday she's still the same. The doctors are saying it could take 5-8 days before seeing any improvement. There is no proof yet, but these symptoms didn't start until after she received her 2nd COVID shot. Doctors will not say if these symptoms are actually due to the vaccine because this is still too new. Nelly took the vaccine because she now has her dream job as a school teacher in Las Vegas where they are supposed to start in person learning in April and she couldn't wait to see her kids again. Since she just started last fall, she is now out of sick pay. She just moved into a beautiful condo, 3 weeks ago, and bought a nice used Buick Encore.  Everything was going great until this. People who know me and Nelly, know we are not one to ask for help, but this is more than I can help her with. My plan is to stay out here until she gets out. She does have some awesome friends who are helping her keep her spirits up. If she gets out of the Hospital this Sunday or Monday, that's over 10 days. She does have insurance, but I don't know how much it will cover. All she needs is a little help to get through this. Any amount will be graciously appreciated. Also any prayers. Thank You
