Hello friends and family,
As many of you already know, my mom just passed away on December 21st, after almost 3 years of battling cancer.
She fought a tough battle, and often times we truly believed she would overcome it with her stubborn & fierce heart.
the last month of her life was extremely difficult for her and our family. We watched as our mother who was once so strong, quickly began to decline within days. Each week things seemed to go downhill a bit more, and we were all very taken back as we didn’t ever expect this battle to take her so quickly.
We are so thankful for the time God gave us her as our mom, wife, and grandma. But it definitely caught us all of guard, and leaves us each with a part missing from our hearts & everyday lives.
We have not decided on a date yet for her memorial; the process has been very hard on everyone, especially my dad. He has worked so hard, and even in the midst of care taking for my mom in her final weeks to provide for the family.
I am setting this gofund me up to raise money for her funeral and memorial service. My dad works with all his heart, but he is grieving immensially and shattered by our current new reality.
My mom always said she wanted to be buried at Forest Lawn in Cypress California by her parents. The costs are quickly becoming a major wall, and my family, and dad especially are trying to come up with funds quickly so we can celebrate the life of our mom.
This fundraiser will go towards funeral, memorial, and burial costs, flowers, and catering for those gathering afterwards.
This time is tough, but we have a strong family that is holding to each other & reminding one another that mom is no longer in pain, despite how much it hurts to not have her with us.
