Hi everyone,

My name is Addy, and together with JD, we are starting this fundraising campaign for one of our dearest friends, Rona.

We were recently hit with news that no one ever wants to hear: Rona has been diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. What makes this even more heartbreaking is that she has always been a very healthy person. This diagnosis came after what was meant to be just a minor, routine check-up, something none of us ever imagined would turn her life drastically.

For those of you who know Rona, you know she is full of heart, resilience, and kindness. She’s the kind of person who shows up without being asked, who gives without expecting anything in return, and who lifts others even when she has nothing to gain. She has always been there for the people she loves. Now, it’s our turn to be there for her.

As she begins this fight, her focus needs to be on healing, strength, and recovery. But the reality of a cancer diagnosis comes with a heavy financial burden. Between specialized treatments, medications, hospital visits, and the everyday cost of living while she is unable to work, the expenses are quickly becoming overwhelming.

We want to lift that weight off her shoulders and surround her with a community of support so she never has to worry about the "how" and can focus strictly on the "win." Your donations will go directly toward:

• Medications and post-operative care

• Daily living support during her recovery
