My name is Ronald Simon Kahn Jr, and I am 20 years old.

When I was 4 years old, my father, Ronald Simon Kahn, passed away. In the years that followed, my family became entangled in a deeply painful and disputed estate process that changed the course of my life.

I believe that serious wrongdoing occurred in relation to my late father’s estate, and my mother and I intend to pursue justice through the courts. Because the matter is legal and ongoing, I must be careful about how much I say publicly. What I can say is this: I grew up without the stability, protection, and opportunities that I believe should have formed part of my future, and that loss has shaped my life profoundly.

This GoFundMe is being created primarily to raise awareness about estate corruption, contested inheritances, and the devastating human impact these disputes can have on children and families. Too often, people see estate battles as paperwork and money. What they do not see clearly enough is the emotional destruction, lost time, lost opportunity, and years of uncertainty that can follow.

My purpose in sharing this is bigger than my own story. I want to help shine a light on the broader issue of estate corruption and the need for truth, accountability, and justice.
