Hi everyone! My name is Gabriella, and I’m excited to share that I’ll be running the 2026 Tokyo Marathon as a charity runner for Ronald McDonald House Japan.
Ronald McDonald House Japan provides a “home away from home” for families with seriously ill children receiving treatment at nearby hospitals. The House offers a safe, supportive, and affordable place to stay—just steps away from medical care—so that parents and caregivers can focus on what matters most: being close to their child. Ronald McDonald Houses Japan serves families from across the country who must travel for specialized care. Every stay is made possible through charitable donations, volunteers, and people who believe in keeping families close during the toughest times.
As a registered nurse, I’ve seen firsthand the incredible support Ronald McDonald House provides to families with sick children. My connection to this mission began during my time as a nursing student at McMaster University, where I witnessed the comfort and stability Ronald McDonald House offered to families at McMaster Children’s Hospital.
To secure my place in the Tokyo Marathon, I’ve personally made a charity donation to Ronald McDonald House Tokyo. Now, I’m reaching out to ask for your support in backing that donation. Your contribution will go directly toward supporting the donation I’ve already made, ensuring that together, we can help provide housing, meals, and support for families when they need it most.
Thank you for cheering me on, for believing in this cause, and for being part of this special journey with me.
With gratitude,
