Ronald McDonald & PSU Hershey Donations - Bennett
Donation protected
Bennett is now 1 year old!

This boy has brought so much joy and happiness into our lives in the short time he has been here. With looking back on how his journey began, we cannot help but to think about all of the people that helped us get to where we are! We cannot express in words how thankful we are for the nurse that called for the emergency eval shortly after he was born, the on-call Pediatrician, the helicopter crew and ambulance crew, the initial cardiac team, his heart surgeon and his team of PA’s, the amazing nurses, the infectious disease doctors, his Cardiologist, the Ronald McDonald House (providing free housing and meals to us), and his Pediatrician. I also want to thank our family for stepping up to help make sure Izzy and Stella were well-cared for while we were absent from their lives. I would also like to say thank you to all my co-workers that helped pickup the slack and allowed me to remain focused on my family!
Before we checked out of the Ronald McDonald House, I wanted to know how we could help with their mission. Obviously they will gladly accept monetary donations, but they need meals more than anything. Every night they supply a hot dinner to all of those staying in the RMH, no acceptations. If they do not have a volunteer-provided meal lined up, they supply pizzas.
In celebrating Bennett’s 1st birthday, Maria and I would like to help repay them for their generosity, love, and support by providing a meal or two, as well as whatever else they need; especially during this Pandemic. I couldn’t image the stress of what these families are going through right now with not only their personal struggles, but adding the stress of COVID as well… (-heavy sigh-).
100% of the money raised will go to the Ronald McDonald House Charity of Central PA (Hershey Chapter) and the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. I also would like to request that you deposit any spare change into the Ronald McDonald House Charity bins when you are at McDonald's.
Thank you all and God Bless!
