“My name is Ronamay Nicolas, I’m 31 years old, and I have two kids—one is 6 years old and the other is 1 year old. They’re still very young, so I can’t leave them behind. That’s why I’m raising funds. I was diagnosed with stage 4A cervical cancer a year ago.

At first, the doctor said it was just polyps because everything started after I gave birth. I thought it was just polyps, but my heavy bleeding continued and got worse. There were times I fainted and stiffened up, so I was rushed to the hospital because I had severe blood loss. This kept happening, so I kept going for check-ups. After waiting for results over and over again, I finally found out it was cancer.

When I was first diagnosed, it was still stage 2, but in just a few weeks or a month, it progressed to stage 4. I had to continue my check-ups, treatments, and buy the medicines I needed, hoping that it would help me recover. However, because of insufficient funds, even the money I got from my insurance was quickly used up for lab tests and repeated hospital stays.”

She is recently admitted due to multiple complications.
