Ron Stewart

Ron was a beloved husband, father, and friend. He touched the lives of so many as a coach and scout. He leaves behind his wife June of nearly 40 years and two sons, Ryan and Kyle.

As this devastating news became known, many have reached out wanting to know how to help the family. We have set up this fund to assist with the unexpected financial burdens that this sudden loss can bring.

Ron was a highly respected and adored longtime team scout of the Milwaukee Bucks. He enjoyed a successful head coaching career at Western Michigan University where he guided the women’s program to multiple postseason tournaments, including the NCAA Tournament and the Women’s National Invitational Tournament. Ron also served on the coaching staffs of the men’s basketball programs at Florida and Kansas State, along with stints at Southern Methodist and Nebraska. He leaves behind an honorable legacy.

The Stewart family has suffered a tremendous loss. As friends of June, we thank you for donating to the family during this time. To know Ron or June is to love them both!
