Ron Savino was a beloved teacher and coach, well-known throughout West Hartford and the surrounding areas for his impact on students in the classroom and athletes on the soccer and softball fields.

We would love to raise enough money to start a Legacy Endowment Fund at Ball State University, in honor of Ronald Savino, Class of '66 and '67. It would be an honor to start this permanent Scholarship Fund to help students in the Teachers College who are studying to become great teachers like Ron. The minimum amount needed to start this scholarship is $25,000.

Your donation will help students, not just for one year, or even one generation, but in perpetuity. This endowment fund would be a permanent fund in which the spendable amounts are available for the designated purpose. If the minimum amount is not raised, we will split the total amount and donate half to BSU for the Teachers College, and half to the ASPCA - an organization that Ron also cared about and supported.
