As some of you may know at the beginning of March both of our parents tested positive for Covid-19.

 

During this time my mom was sent to the emergency room and urgent care twice, the doctors had to perform multiple tests on her. She is now recovering thankfully and starting to feel better.

 

The health department told us that our dad had a new strain of this virus, that is much rarer and more contagious, and they are not too familiar with yet. Before being admitted to the hospital, he had multiple emergency room visits, multiple tests, and a couple weeks ago he was unable to breathe and was taken to the hospital by ambulance. He has now been in the hospital for 2 weeks and counting. Not only did he test positive for Covid-19, he also had pneumonia, and just a few days ago they found masses of blood clots in both lungs. As you can imagine this has created thousands of dollars in medical bills.

 

If you know my parents you know they’re both kind, caring people, who both have good hearts, and would help anyone in need. My dad is the main supporter of our family, and he has been out of work for a month now. My sisters and I wanted to be able to give back to my parents and create less stress for them by providing them help with paying their medical bills.
