My father, Ron Reach, was a Man of Many Hats, a kind and generous soul, an entertainer, and a healer. He loved to live life to the fullest and to live in the moment - that's what he was all about. Being that he lived his life in the moment, and that I'm sure he was planning to stick around with all of us much longer than the Universe intended, he did not leave behind a will and, as far as I know, there was no life insurance policy in his name.
This being said, I would really love to have a natural burial at Honey Creek Woodlands, adjacent to Arabia Mountain and the Monastery of the Holy Spirit. Here, his body will return to the Earth and will decompose naturally, in a beautiful meadow where the sun always shines. As he did not get to share his final wishes with me, when I search deep within for where he might be the happiest, it is here - I think this would be the perfect final resting place for him.
Unfortunately, I am not in a position financially at the moment to make this happen, and if I am not able to raise enough funds, then a cremation will be the next best bet, and any money in excess of that will go towards a memorial service for immediate family and later on a Life Celebration where all his friends will gather and celebrate the Life and Legend of Ron Reach.
I imagine the Life Celebration to be something like a big party, complete with Live Music, dancing, and as he requested at one point, an ice cream social.
For right now, though, my main focus is to get his bones in the ground, where they belong, so we can later give him a proper send-off!!
I would love to get help, in any way, to make any or all of this happen.
Much love to you all, and please remember to hug each other and to tell everyone you care about how much you love them before they're gone.
