Hello Helpful Coworkers.

Ron Niles has been working for the NYSP for 13 years. He is a Station Cleaner working out of both Aviation Albany & SP Brunswick, and a Member of CSEA Local 697. His love, life partner, Lori was diagnosed with both lung and throat cancer. It has been a rough road for them. She is currently in the ICU at Samaritan Hospital with the most recent complication of pneumonia. Ron is trying to juggle work for the households only income and to keep health insurance current, running to the hospital and they also have a special needs adult son who is currently at Saint Michael's.

We are hoping to offset gas money for his vehicle, meals and TV/phone at the hospital, or any leave without pay he may encounter trying to spend what may be very little quality time with his family.
