Ron Minor Family Financial Support

Hi everyone, this is my dad, Ron. Recently, our family's world has been flipped upside down as we try to grasp what happened to him.

While at work, Ron fainted and suffered a head injury. We soon learned that he had suffered from multiple brain bleeds, which caused him to faint. While at the hospital, things progressed quickly, in the worst way possible. My dad underwent emergency surgery to remove a piece of his skull to lessen the damage caused by his brain swelling, and he has suffered extensive injuries to his brain due to the bleeding. The doctors warned us that he may never wake up and be the same Ron we all know and love.

The surgery was successful in relieving the swelling, but every day is a new battle. My dad rests heavily medicated and attached to many tubes keeping him alive.

Ron is surrounded by family and every day we see signs that he is still there. He is able to squeeze a hand placed in his hand, and he can move his left foot. He has opened his eyes briefly on command and even gave us a thumbs up. I know my dad is still there; we all have so much hope in his recovery.

My dad has a long recovery ahead of him. He was the sole provider of our family, and returning to work is not in his future. I have created this GoFundMe to lessen the financial burden on our family. This is one small way I can help during this unpredictable and challenging time.
