Ron had several passions in life, drag racing, snowmobiling, camping and seeing how much wood he can have stacked in the yard. His logging brought wood to many homes across the greater thumb area.  Ron was a hardworking individual, dedicated to his family and friends. He always had smile on his face and a willingness to help anyone. At the drag strip he shared a racing passion with his family and was known as the “Melnik” twin with the green car. He was always very supportive of every racer and enjoyed walking around talking to everyone.
