In the early morning hours  of Sunday, February 21st, Ron & Mary Meyer were awoken to the horrifying news that their heifer barn had collapsed from the unprecedented 46 inches of snowfall we received over the past 24 hours.  Hundreds of firefighters, friends,& family arrived to help rescue the livestock trapped inside the barn.  Unfortunately some cows were lost in the tragedy that was unfolding.  Thankfully no humans were in the barn at the time of collapse as morning chores had not yet started.  .  As one of the few remaining dairy farms in the Boston / Concord, NY area, they could really use our help to get them back up and operating, the veterinarian bills are mounting to take care of the surviving cows and the cost of rebuilding the barn is beyond belief.  please consider donating to help rebuild their barn and restore the meyer dairy farm to an operational capacity.
