***URGENT UPDATE: Ron had to be rushed to the emergency room for a second time. Due to complications from his surgery, he now has to be re-admitted to the hospital in hopes that they will be able to mend these complications without having to resort to another surgery. All incoming donations will be incredibly helpful towards this unexpected return to the hospital and yet another extended stay in Baltimore for Ron's family.
As the Lemire's have started getting clearer information on billing, we're increasing the goal accordingly to ensure they're not slammed with outstanding debt. Ron and his family are truly grateful for the outpouring of love and support, and will be responding with thank you's once Ron is on the mend.
While in route to Maine to say goodbye to his passing mother, Ron Lemire was rushed to the emergency room during a layover at the Baltimore airport. He suffered from a severe aneurism, leading to an emergency surgery to remove his spleen. His ruptured spleen had caused so much internal bleeding, that he was moments away from losing his life. The surgeon says it's a miracle that he survived. Unfortunately, his mother passed while he was in ICU. He is now transitioning out of ICU and into intermediate care.
Ron's wife and two (out of 3) daughters have remained by his side in Baltimore through these trying times. Due to the emergency surgery, lengthy hospital stay and having to be in an unfamiliar city, Ron and his family are facing strenuous expenses. All donations will go towards Ron's immense medical bills, allowing him to focus on healing and returning to his magical wild self without worrying about the stress of medical debt.
Ron and his family thank you all deeply for your love and support.
